Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

February 28, 2007

A large eagle (or humongous falcon) had staked out the same wildebeest leg, but the jackals got there first. The eagle rose and dove at the jackals, but they happily ambled off into the grass. The eagle flew off, and we drove on to the next adventure. Cruising the Crater provides one little vignette after another.
